I don't like the alt-space solution for 2 reasons:
1) I have alt-space assigned to something else (launchy)
2) It doesn't always work that moving the mouse moves the window.

I have created a simple registry editing file that deletes the registry entry automatically - one double-click and you are good to go.
Simply copy the following into notepad and save as DebugViewFix.reg (or something similar, only the .reg is important obviously):

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Sysinternals\DbgView]
"Settings"=-Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6770655.post-16695633191170716772008-09-02T08:44:00.000-04:002008-09-02T08:44:00.000-04:00Thanks for the info. I think that maybe your message window is opening on a region that is not visible. You might want to right click on the desktop and select properties, look at the monitors. If you have them as 1,2, swap them to 2,1 temporarily, then select apply. This might bring that other window into a region that you can see. If so, then bring that outlook window into your main window, close that outlook window so that position is saved. Then restore back your monitor settings.
hope this helps.Arnulfo Winghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07530035988027109813noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6770655.post-81415529504148593932007-09-14T12:40:00.000-04:002007-09-14T12:40:00.000-04:00Here's a situation/question for someone.My primary...Here's a situation/question for someone.

My primary machine is Winxp, Office 2007. I have dual monitors.

When I have an email message open on my primary monitor, and switch between the two monitors, I cannot click the message again. I have to close and reopen it.

My 2nd monitor is used to test other machines through TS. So sometimes I'm creating an email with regard to what I'm finding on the 2nd (TS) machine.

It's making me crazy not being able to jump back into my email message.

Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6770655.post-86592679699086273922007-08-17T14:09:00.000-04:002007-08-17T14:09:00.000-04:00I've heard dual monitors need to be *BOTH* turned ...I've heard dual monitors need to be *BOTH* turned on before being used by a DBA... ;)Arnulfo Winghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07530035988027109813noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6770655.post-11081672757538650562007-08-17T13:38:00.000-04:002007-08-17T13:38:00.000-04:00You know, Ornofrio, if you are having troubles get...You know, Ornofrio, if you are having troubles getting your monitors to work there's a guy here at the office who has helped me with that stuff in the past.sqlblindmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08600833348951829820noreply@blogger.com
